"Blu" is the Color of the Week

It's Summertime in LA...and if summer had a color it'd have to be Blu(e). Blue skies, the Ocean, Dodger blue, and fresh from San Pedro is Blu, the best thing in hip hop goin right now when you wanna relax your mind and stare at those blue skies all summer. Blu has to be the chillest sound I have heard in a long time...and you cant help but wanna let any creativity you've been hiding flow out through your ears with these joints. I saw Blu & Exile open for Wale at the Key Club in LA and he stole the show...half the crowd left after he was done...even with Wale comin' next.

DJ Heat Presents Blu- (So)ul Amzing (Part 2)

Start with this album, Blu & Exile's "Below the Heavens" (2007) is straight masterful.

Blu...not to be confused with Blu...a crew of unbelievable graffiti artists who have created some of the most mind blowing pieces I have ever seen (See: "MUTO" dropped in the Study Hard post). All I can say is...twist it if ya got it.

Lastly. Baby Blues BBQ in Venice ain't bad. Don't judge them by the color of their skin...pretty good BBQ with a twist.
